The ferry service was originally supposed to move from Leamington to Kingsville Saturday August 1.
But dredging of the Kingsville Harbour channel makes passenger ferry travel unsafe.
Officials add the Pelee Island Ferry Service will continue at the Leamington Terminal until at least August 14th. Customers will know a week in advance when the service will return to Kingsville.
