Plowing Match In Need Of Volunteers

Organizers of CK's International Plowing Match are looking for sponsors, and to do that they need volunteers.

IPM officials are making an appeal for interested residents to join their "Corporate Partners" Committee. This is one of the first committees that needs to be filled ahead of the 2018 match.

Co-organizer Carl Sterling says the event will need plenty of financial support. "We're looking for money, as well as equipment. It could be a John Deer Gator, or a golf cart, or a loader tractor for the event."

Sterling adds the IPM is for everyone, and they'll be looking for volunteers to fill nearly 50 other committees in the near future. Interested volunteers can contact organizers at [email protected] or by phone at 519-352-8365.
