Local Studio Recognized In U.S.

The latest production from a Chatham audio studio is being recognized at a major American event. Good Things Come, which was produced at David Farquhar's Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre, is one of only five from across North America to be honoured.

"What makes this really unique is the calibre of people that go to this festival and the judges, a lot of them have worked in New York or Los Angeles on National Public Radio," he says. "Essentially what the judges are looking for is the craftsmanship, what goes into the production, the actors, the writing, directing, the production values."

Farquhar says the local organization will be honoured at "Hear Now," the audio fiction and arts festival held in Kansas City, Missouri in June and has worldwide distribution in the audio spoken word market.
