Chaplain Very Experienced

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has added a chaplain with overseas military experience.

Father Chris Gillespie has served as chaplain to several military units.

"I was a military chaplain for 11 years with the First Hussars, attach posted to the Van Doos as I went overseas with them to Bosnia Herzegovina for a peace keeping tour," he says. "Primarily Chaplaincy to the members of our own Canadian forces, and then kind of secondarily assisting with humanitarian aid."

He serves at churches in Wallaceburg and Port Lambton.
