Online voters are out in full force across Chatham-Kent today, trying to earn the community one of the top two spots in the Kraft Hockeyville challenge.
Manager of Outreach, Marketing and Programs at the Chatham-Kent Public Library Sarah Hart says there are plenty of opportunities at the local libraries to vote. "We've set up a special polling station so even people who don't have library cards can come in and jump on and do some voting if they like," says Hart. "And of course any computer in the branch that has Internet is available as a voting station."
Tilbury's Tom Cunningham, 68, says he voted ten times at the WISH Centre in Chatham this morning and likes the community's chances. "I think we're going to be up there," says Cunningham, who turns 69 on Sunday. "Chatham does deserve this support."
Voting stations are set up at the WISH Centre on King St. in Chatham as well as at public library branches in Chatham, Highgate, Merlin, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Wallaceburg.
