Speeding With A Suspended Licence

A 52-year-old Windsor man is facing a handful of charges after police pulled over a pickup truck that was speeding on Hwy. 401 in Chatham-Kent.

Provincial police say the pickup was clocked going 152km/h in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Blacks Rd. just after 9am Thursday.

Police say the driver had two licence suspensions and the truck was also spotted following too closely behind a tractor-trailer.

The vehicle has been temporarily impounded and the accused is set to appear in court next month.
