A new survey hopes to get a better look at the challenges facing employers in the community.
Brittany Johnston with the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board says the Employer One survey will collect local labour information.
"A lot of Chatham-Kent is experiencing skills gaps, labour shortages, and that's because we have an aging workforce and a lot of our youthful skilled workers are migrating," says Johnston. "With the results, we're going to hopefully be able get a really good snapshot of what's going on."
The month long survey launches on January 1 and can be found online at www.ckworkforcedev.com.
