Some wet and windy weather is on the way for Christmas Day.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says a major storm system will move in the region today and move out tomorrow morning.
"In it's wake it's going to going to leave these windy conditions," says Coulson. "We could be seeing wind gusts from the west of 70, maybe even 80 km/hr during the day on Christmas Day. Because of that we could be seeing a few power outages here and there in Southwestern Ontario."
Coulson says if we reach today's expected high, it could set a new record.
