Police saw a man approach a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier this week.
That's when the driver took off in the car fleeing from police.
When the suspect was apprehended, police found property that had been inside another stolen car on the man's person. Police also confiscated a syringe containing a controlled substance.
A man has now been charged with Dangerous Driving, Possession of a Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failing to Comply with an earlier release condition.
