Black Friday Shopping War

It's Black Friday at U.S. retailers and many in Canada as well.

BlackburnNews.com talked to area residents to see if they plan to hit the stores looking for a great deal. Tilbury's Martina Roach won't shop Black Friday. "Because it's just too crazy for the deals," says Roach. "And I don't like crowds."

Chatham's Carrie Carroll admits she may be influenced by the deals. "I'll look at the flyers and I'll see what I can find and if I see anything of value then yes, I will go out and do some shopping."

Some retailers started offering deals as early as the beginning of the week and online, with many continuing right through the weekend, if not longer.
