The Wallaceburg Lakers are now riding a six-game losing streak after falling 2-1 to the Dresden Jr. Kings on Sunday.
After Dresden took a 1-0 lead early in the first period, the Lakers were able to tie the game in the second. However, it was short lived as the Jr. Kings scored another goal with just over a minute left in the second. Neither team scored in the third to give Dresden the win.
Justin Delgado and David Vergeer each scored one for Dresden. Alex Ritchie scored one goal for Wallaceburg.
The Lakers take on the Essex 73's on Wednesday at 7:30pm and Dresden will take on the Blenheim Blades on Saturday at 6:15pm.
