Police Catch Highway 401 Speeders

Chatham-Kent OPP nabbed three drivers for stunt driving in just two hours.

Sunday night around 8:30pm, officers pulled over a 27-year-old Markham woman on Hwy. 401 near Harwich Rd. for driving 159km/h in a 100km/h zone.

Just over an hour later, a 28-year-old man from North York was stopped near Victoria Rd. driving 160km/h.

Then at 10:30pm, a 26-year-old Toronto man was clocked driving 153km/h in the same area.

All three were charged with racing, their licences suspended and their vehicles impounded for seven days.
