3,000 pound Holstein saved from slaughterhouse due to size

A massive steer named Knickers has been spared the slaughterhouse due to its sheer size.

The Holstein in the town of Myalup, Australia stands nearly two metres tall and weighs more than 3,000 pounds, double the weight of the average dairy cow and about 50 centimetres taller.

Owner Geoff Pearson says Knickers was too heavy to put through a processing facility, saying he plans to put it to work

Pearson says “Whenever he wants to get up and start walking, there’s a trail of hundreds of cattle following him.”
