Titan Machinery Inc. Closing 14 Farm Equipment Locations

One of the largest farm equipment dealership networks in the continent is closing up 14 locations.

Chairman and CEO of Titan Machinery David Meyer says it's a difficult decision to close any location, and the ones chosen are all close in proximity.

He notes that comes because the corporation has acquired a number of smaller businesses and some have become redundant.

He adds the company is committed and focused on retaining the majority of its customers and employees involved with those closures in the U.S. and Europe.

Titan's restructuring plan is expected to reduce revenues by about 4 per cent for the upcoming fiscal year, the equivalent of $40 million.
