Total Receipts 2243 cattle & 400 lambs & goats

Summary

Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good active trade at prices $1-$2 higher. Fancy strs and hfrs 132.00 – 136.25.

Choice strs and hfrs 124.00 – 127.00 sales to $128.25.

Second cut 121.00 – 124.00. Cows sold steady.

Thursday Veal calves sold on a good active trade at prices $1-2 lower.

Lambs, sheep and goats sold steady.

Friday Calves and yearlings sold actively at steady prices.

Steers

Chris Smith of Brussels consigned 14 steers that averaged 1636 lbs and sold for an average price of 130.72. Two red steers averaged 1600 lbs and sold for 136.25.

Leonard and Andrew Black of Proton Station consigned 12 steers that averaged 1529 lbs and sold for an average price of 125.39. One red steer weighed 1585 lbs and sold for 127.00.

Heifers

Southlore Farms of Palmerston consigned 12 head that averaged 1349 lbs and sold for an average price of 122.04. Two heifers averaged 1303 lbs and sold for 128.25.

Bev Annett of Mildmay consigned 2 heifers that averaged 1333 lbs and sold for an average price of 127.25.
