Huron Student Part Of OAC's Top Weed Competitors

An OAC student from the Brussels area picked up an award at the recent North Eastern Weed Society Competition in Virginia.

Alex Sanders from R. R. 4 Brussels received one of the three first-place undergraduate individual awards.

He was also part of the top undergrad team, with Matt Rundle, Kaylene Sangers and Hanna Petrovsky.

The University of Guelph's OAC Weeds Team had the top three undergraduate teams, top three undergrad individuals and the top graduate team at the competition which included teams from the Northeastern U-S.
