Huron, Perth Farmers Among Tops In Forage Competition

Results are in for this year's Milk Maker Forage Competition.

Glen and Curtis McNeil of Goderich topped the Baleage Class.

Brian Vink of St. Paul's was first in the Second Cut Haylage class.

Stratford's Kevin Cook finished first in the Alfalfa Hay Class.

Roger Wikkerink of Norwich was first in two classes - Grass Hay and First Cut Haylage.

Other first place winners in various categories were Ian Martin of Elmira and Leroy Brubacker, also of Elmira.

The 2016 Milk Maker Forage Competition was run by the Ontario Forage Council with partnership from the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association, Dairy Farmers of Canada and the Canadian Dairy Xpo.
