ALUS Program In Lambton Gets GFO Support

The Alternative Land Use Services program in Lambton is getting a grant from the county's grain farmers.

The District 3 Grain Farmers of Ontario is giving the local ALUS program a thousand dollars.

District 3 Director Dave Park says ALUS aligns with GFO's sustainability goals.

He points out a healthy ecosystem is critical to agricultural success.

ALUS is a community developed, farmer driven program that helps support farmers who undertake projects to sustain agricultural, wildlife and natural spaces.

Lambton ALUS administrator Lindsay Buchanan calls the grant another way GFO is demonstrating it's ongoing commitment to a healthy ecosystem.
