AGRIS/Wanstead Agronomist Wins Crop Advisor Award

The winner of this year's Crop Advisor Association Award of Excellence is Dale Cowan

The award recognizes a certified crop advisor who delivers exceptional customer service, is highly innovative and is a leader in their field.

Winners must also have contributed substantially to the exchange of ideas and the transfer of agronomic knowledge within the agriculture industry.

Cowan has been involved in agriculture for over 35 years.

He's currently a Senior Agronomist with AGRIS and Wanstead Co-operatives.

AGRIS General Manager Jim Campbell says Cowan has been instrumental in the development and promotion of sustainable agronomy and precision farming practices throughout Ontario.

The CCA Award of Excellence is jointly sponsored by Syngenta Canada and CropLIfe Canada Ontario Council.
