OSCIA Selects President-Elect

An Oxford County dairy farmer will be the new president of the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association.

Association Vice-President Gord Green was acclaimed to the presidency at the organisation's annual summer directors' meeting.

Green represents Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties on the Association.

He and his family operate Greenholm Farms, near Embro.

It's a 750 acre farm where the Greens milk about 200 cows.

Their crops are all planted using no-till except for the corn, which is strip-tilled.

Green will take over from Alan Kruszel as Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association president.
