OAC Competitor Takes One Of Top Spots In N. American Competition

6 teams from the Ontario Agricultural College competed at the recent National Weed Science Contest in Ohio.

The two undergrad teams placed second and third in the national awards.

Those two teams had placed first and second in the northeast conference competition.

One of the 2 graduate teams finished third in the conference.

Stephen Boersma placed first in the overall individual undergrad performance awards and second in the national awards for outstanding individual undergrad performance.

OAC students Lauren Benoit and Johanna Burrows were second and third in the individual undergrad performance awards.

More than 200 students from 25 schools participated in that Ohio competition.
