Huron County has it's entries for the upcoming regional 4-H Go for the Gold competition.

Huron has two teams going, based on their performance at the recent county event.

The Wawanosh team topped that competition, with the Sheep 1 team coming in second.

Wawanosh is made up of Loretta Higgins, Maisy Jefferson, Scott Jefferson, Colton Rodgers and Connor Rodgers, with Betty Jane Higgins coaching.

The Sheep 1 team members are Graham Falconer, Jolanda Oudshoorn, Janette Plaetzer and Luanne McGregor.

They're coached by Deb Falconer.

They'll compete against teams from Perth, Grey and Bruce County at the regional competition in Listowel in August.

The winner from that event will compete at the provincial level at the Royal in November.
