'Mischief' At Second Perth County Mink Farm

Another Perth County mink farm has fallen victim to mischief.

Police report wide openings were cut in the perimeter fence in a number of locations at the farm late Tuesday or early Wednesday of this week.

About 68 hundred mink were released from their cages.

Farm workers managed to recapture most of the animals.

About 500 are still on the loose.

This farm was on Perth Road 125, just north of St. Marys.

A different mink farm in the St. Marys area had something similar happen in late May.

It's still under investigation.

Perth OPP are looking for any information on any suspicious vehicles or people around that farm on Road 125 just north of St. Marys.
