A reward is being offered in connection with last weekend's incident at a Perth County mink farm.
About 1,500 nursing female milk were released from the farm. Many were recovered but some are still missing and some died.
A $75,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever is responsible for the incident.
Kirk Rankin, President of the Canada Mink Breeders Association, says their irresponsible action shows a shocking disregard for the welfare of the animals.
The farm's owner, Jeff Richardson, says he would never have thought anyone could be so ignorant or heartless as to separate mothers from their nursing young.
