Second warrant issued for Windsor assault suspect

Windsor police have issued a second arrest warrant for a man already sought for his alleged role in a fight earlier this month.

Officers responded to a home on Harrison Avenue near Lena Avenue on the west end at about 9 p.m. on Sunday, for a disturbance call. Police learned that a victim was held at gunpoint by a female, who fled in a waiting vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle, a silver Chrysler Pacifica, has been identified by investigators as 22-year-old Tyrell Patterson, who is wanted by police for a fight on October 8 that sent one person to hospital.

Patterson is described as a Black man, about 5'10", with a medium build and dark-coloured beard.

The female suspect in the Harrison Avenue incident is described as White, 20 to 30 years old, with long dark hair. She was dressed in all black clothing.

Anyone with information on Patterson's whereabouts, or security camera footage to share, should contact Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, extension 4830. Anonymous tips should be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
