Strong southerly winds are expected to develop Friday morning with gusts up to 60 or 70 km/h possible. These winds are expected to further strengthen later in the afternoon or early evening and become more westerly with gusts of 70 to 90 km/h possible.

Winds are expected to ease later Friday night as the system responsible moves east of the region.

You may see a larger police presence than usual in two spots in Windsor on Thursday.Windsor Police are searching the area around Tecumseh Road West near Jannette Avenue and near Grand Marais Road West and Huron Church Road.They're still looking for 37-year-old David Pavao, who disappeared a month ago.Police stress there is no threat to public safety, and ask the public to avoid those areas.Anyone with information about Pavao's disappearance can call the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830, Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477, or go to <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://www.catchcrooks.com">www.catchcrooks.com</a>.
