Major work starts Monday at Banwell Road and E.C. Row Expressway

The City of Windsor is about to embark on a month-long project to improve the Banwell Road and E.C. Row Expressway interchange.

Starting on Monday, the E.C. Row will have lane restrictions from east of Lauzon Parkway to Banwell Road, and from west of Lesperance Road to Banwell.

There will also be lane restrictions on County Road 42 from west of Lesperance Road to Banwell Road and on Banwell from the roundabout at Mulberry Drive and Wildwood Drive to south of the E.C. Row Expressway.

The city plans to remove the old traffic signals at Banwell Road and the E.C. Row Expressway, widen and pave the shoulders along the E.C. Row, and complete bridge abutments and the centre pier.

Crews start working on Monday morning at 7 a.m. and finish on October 17.
