$50K reward offered to help find woman missing since 2021

The Ontario government is now offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person, or individuals, responsible for the disappearance of Deana Timms.

Lambton OPP have been trying to locate the Sarnia woman since February 2022.

OPP West Region released a video with Detective Inspector Mike Moore on X (formerly known as Twitter) updating the case on Tuesday.

"Sometime between late February and early March of 2021, 34-year-old Deana Vanessa Timms was picked up from a residence in the city of London and given a ride late in the evening to return to Lambton County," said Moore.

He said investigators now believe Timms disappearance is the result of foul play.

"Deana is described as a white female, 5'4" tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes," Moore said. "She has ties to London, Watford and Sarnia and was known to frequent those areas. Investigators are aware that individuals may have information that can help the investigation."

Moore said the Lambton OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, continues to investigate.

Anyone with information is asked to call the dedicated tip line at 1-844-677-9402 or e-mail police at OPP.TIMMS.Missing.Person@opp.ca.
