Canatara Beach - June 22/25 (Sarnia News Today photo by Stephanie Chaves)The Lake Huron Coastal Centre will host its First of Fall Beach Clean-Up in Sarnia this weekend.
Volunteers are asked to meet at Canatara Beach, parking near the public washrooms, with water, closed toe shoes, a bucket and gloves.
The event on Saturday, September 20 goes from at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It was so successful last year, 165 volunteers participated and about 175 pounds of garbage was collected.
CKFR is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
