UPDATE: Suspect arrested in attempted break and enters

Police have arrested a 16-year-old after he allegedly tried to break into two homes in central Sarnia.

The Sarnia Police Service initially released video footage on September 5 in hopes of identifying a suspect connected to two break-in investigations on Poplar Avenue and Raybourne Avenue.

The first incident was reported on August 13 at 12:30 p.m., and the second occurred on August 31 at 1:20 a.m. and at 2:45 a.m.

The teen was held for bail on multiple charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
