The Pittsburgh Steelers will hold kicker tryouts today to find a replacement for Wallaceburg's Shaun Suisham.
Multiple media reports say an MRI yesterday confirmed the 33-year-old suffered a torn ACL and ligament damage in his left knee in Sunday's pre-season opener against the Vikings and will undergo season ending surgery by the end of the week.
Suisham was entering his 11th NFL season and sixth with the Steelers. He signed a 4-year extension with Pittsburgh last summer.
The Bowling Green product was one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL last season.
