Bayfield Lions Club celebrates winners of 37th annual golf tournament

The Bayfield Lions Club is celebrating another successful outing at its 37th annual golf tournament.

The tournament this year was held on September 5 at Bluewater Golf Course. 80 golfers came out to tee of to support various community causes supported by the Bayfield Lions Club.

The winners were Nora Dowler, joined by her sons Mackenzie and Grey, along with partner Kevin Burton. Their final score of 59 was a whopping 13-under.

Other big moments included Grey West claiming the Men’s Longest Drive and Krista Jefferson powering her way to win the Ladies’ Longest Drive.

Thanks to events like this, the Bayfield Lions have been able to contribute $30,000 to the relocation of the Bayfield Food Bank.
