E-bike theft suspects found and arrested in West Perth

The investigation into the recent theft of an e-bike in West Perth has led to the arrest of two people.

According to Perth County OPP, on August 2, officers launched an investigation into the theft of an e-bike from Keterson Park in Mitchell.

As a result of that investigation, police have arrested a 40-year-old from Stratford and a 61-year-old from Perth East.

Both of the accused have been charged with theft under $5,000.

The older of the two suspects was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on October 20. The younger of the accused remains in police custody on unrelated charges.
