A month after property and the helipad at the Hanover and District Hospital was damaged during a break-in, an arrest has been made.

Hanover police launched an investigation into the break and enter to a secure area of the hospital on August 7.

An intruder reportedly damaged some property and tampered with the helipad before leaving on a bicycle.

The investigation led police to arrest a 36-year-old man of no fixed address during a traffic stop on Saturday morning.

The man is charged with breaking and entering, mischief under $5,000, mischief interfering with property, and breach of probation. He was to appear for a bail hearing later in the day, police said.
