Whalers Likely Moving To Flint

The Plymouth Whalers are set to hold a news conference Wednesday morning where it's widely believed the OHL team will announce plans to relocate to Flint, Michigan.

The news conference is set to take place at 11am at Compuware Arena in Plymouth.

Earlier this week, President of IMS Hockey Corporation Costa Papista told BlackburnNews.com the company was in serious talks with the OHL and was squarely focused on drawing a team to Flint.

The owner of the OHL's Plymouth Whalers publicly expressed interest in moving the team late last year and at one point had expressed interest in relocating to Chatham.
