Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent under frost advisory

It will definitely feel like fall in southwestern Ontario on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent, with patchy frost possible overnight.

Low temperatures may flirt with the freezing mark, especially in rural or low-lying areas.

"Some plants that remain outside may be damaged by frost," read the advisory from Environment Canada. "Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees."

Similar conditions are also in the forecast for Saturday night.
