Three suspects sought in Norwich stabbing

Provincial police are searching for three suspects after a stabbing in a small town south of Woodstock sent one person to hospital.

Oxford OPP, along with the West Region emergency response team, were called about the stabbing on Avery's Lane in Norwich around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. That individual was taken to hospital for treatment.

On Thursday morning, police announced they are looking for three men in relation to the incident. All three were reportedly wearing black masks at the time of the attack.

"One individual is described as being approximately six feet tall, the other two are described as being average height," police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the stabbing or who has video surveillance of the area to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
